The road to Texas is a long-horned devil, 2016

In the aftermath of my mother’s life-threatening car accident, I created this one-of-a-kind concertina book as both witness and response. Through photography and writing, I document the violent rupture of the crash, the miles between Georgia and Texas, and days spent gathered around family as my mother recovers.
